Shahr-e Kord set to host major crafts exhibit in October
TEHRAN - Craftspeople who are natives of over ten Iranian provinces will promote skills in a major exhibit running from October 1 to 5 in Shahr-e Kord, the capital city of western Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari province.
“The event will be attended by exhibitors and artisans from provinces of Isfahan, Khuzestan, Fars, Lorestan, Markazi, Qom, Hamedan, Yazd, Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari and Kohgiluyeh-Boyerahmad amongst others,” CHTN reported.
The exhibit will feature arrays of souvenirs, personal ornamentation, woodwork, illuminated manuscript, miniature, textile printing, enamel, leatherwork, handwoven textile, calligraphy, traditional musical instrument, metalwork, marquetry.
The event will also highlight felt products for which Shahr-e Kord is nationally famous.
